Charee Pineda expressed her longing for the baby girl she lost last May, lamenting that this Christmas should have been her first.

The actress remembered her child, whom she named Christiana, sharing a quote about the holiday season and “sorrow” via her Instagram Stories on Friday, Dec. 20.

“Someone you know is preparing for their first Christmas without her husband, wife, mother, father, brother, sister, daughter or son. Others are preparing for their last. Regardless of the specifics, remember that this season of joy is often a season of sorrow for many. Be kind, be generous, give love, give help; if nothing else, just don’t give people a hard time,” the full quote read.

“We may not know why it had to happen but we trust that the Lord has better plans and all we can do is to let go and surrender. I know in my heart we will see you again, my love,” she said.

Pineda married her husband Martell Soledad in 2020. In the same year, they welcomed their firstborn Martell Francesco.
